Shared Reading
Courses & Facilitator Training
We are passionate about sharing the benefits of what we do with as many people as possible, so we offer courses and facilitator training programs for individuals and teams in the community and a range of different organisations.
Our facilitator training is based on the established techniques and practices of social bibliotherapy and equips participants with the basic skills needed to facilitate a group. We then assist trainees to establish Shared Reading groups and develop their practice in their organisation or community.
Whether you work in aged care, mental health, disability support, workplace wellbeing or general community settings, or if you are an individual wanting to do something positive in your community, Shared Reading training will give you tools to connect, delight and inspire your people.
Our Special Interest Short Courses offer guided Shared Reading experiences for anyone who would like to feel better, find meaning, or make meaningful human connections through the shred exploration of literature.
